Which equipment will you need?

Over the years I have realised that you get what you pay for, but if you are just starting out you can substitute with household items in some cases. Spend wisely on your mat & look after your spine.

Choosing the right equipment pilates & fitness equipment can be a challenge, and finding it locally in Dorset even more challenging. So I have put together this list of products that are the right size and fit for purpose.

By well and never regret it!

Long Mat  or Short Mat

Pilates Ball

Prickle Ball

Resistance Band

The following equipment adds challenge and variety to your class and can be purchased as time goes on. When I teach using these items, if you don't have them, you can often use an alternative, or simply work without, but good equipment always makes your pilates session more enjoyable.

Mini Band

Soft Foam Roller

Half Foam Roller

Weighted Balls

Massage Balls  or Economy Massage Balls

Magic Circle

You will need all of these items to participate but you can use your pilates mat if you have one. You can start by substituting with household items, but good equipment makes it more enjoyable.
